Meet Dr. Jim

Dr. Jim Ng Cheong Tin, B.Sc, OD, FAAO

Dr. Jim completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Waterloo in Honours Science, followed by his Doctor of Optometry and Bachelor of Science in Vision Sciences at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia. His training focused on primary care, binocular vision, and pediatrics. He is Wave Contact Lens Design certified and a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry.

Known simply as Jim by many patients, he brings a practical, human approach to eye care — combining advanced clinical training with clear communication and a genuine connection to the community.

Outside the clinic, Jim enjoys music, vinyl records, photography, Tough Mudder events, and beer league hockey.
